Hello I have ran into a really weird Rust bug. I have tried 8 servers and It happens on every single one.
-I cannot move more than 40-50 steps without warping back to my original position
-I don't think I'm really firing bullets because when i start firing ammo will go count down then go back up to the original ammo count ex: 25,24,23,25,24,25,24,23,22,25,24 etc etc
-Everything is running in slow motion it seems like.
EDIT - seems like my videos are being sped up when I upload to youtube so you cant see the slowdown issue that well, regardless I'm uploading another video that shows the bullet problem along with a really big rubber band.
EDIT2 - looks like while I'm firing bullets only 1/10 bullets actually register, the rest dont really count which makes it look like im firing 400 bullets without reloading (i wish :p)
It seems like my character is completely lagged out, Right now I cant play the game at all.

What are your system specs? You're also experiencing severe rubberbanding, which is likely a server-side issue, not your computer, if you're connected to the net on something more sophisticated than TCP/IP over smoke signal. However, the super-slowmotion could be a couple things.
You probably went over your bandwidth cap and now you don't have enough bandwidth to play the game properly. Your internet is either experiencing major choke or packetloss, or the server you play on is lagging horribly. If you have this issue on other servers then it is definitely a fault with your internet.
Does rust use a lot of bandwith? I'v also tried playing GW2, Counter-Strike:GO, World of tanks, and dayz and have not had any issues. I don't think I'm being throttled, but I will call up my ISP just to check.

400 round m4
ran down the hill firing, ran back up and rubber-banded all the way down the hill again.
youtube sped up my video speed again, so you cant see the slow-mo but you can notice it in the first video a little by the chat speed and me sorting through my inventory super fast.

GTX 770
Verizon FIOS 50MB up 30MB down
Might try doing a tracert in a command prompt window and see if there is a big spike somewhere along the way.
I suffered terribly with this on minecraft. Nothing was loading at all yet i could see people talking long seconds after they typed it.
For me this was my ISP throttling me during peak times. Because they can label traffic other services like just internet browsing or streaming weren't that bad but gaming activity or downloading was grinding.
When i played out of peak times it was perfect however i work during non peak times. So i invested in a VPN which allowed all my traffic to be encrypted so certain traffic that would normally get labeled and throttled didn't get throttled minecraft worked a dream after. However VPN would slow down traffic as it needs to encrypt packets and i imagine un-encrypt them when you send or receive? This could be a solution?
However bare in mind Minecraft is considered Peer-to-peer (I think) which is the same way most torrentz operate. Not the same variables unfortunately.

From what I have noticed this game needs a huge amount of bandwidth. Like running this game will occasionally cause my browser to load web pages very slowly if alt tabbed. Is this a persistent thing or could it be that steam, windows or a flat mate started a sneaky download without your knowledge?
the game is still at alpha stage, there are many problems yet to be fixed.
at least you can play the damn thing, my computer freezes after 20 min of gameplay.
and yes... its a problem only with rust
Just wanted to give an update, I logged in the next day and everything was fine, not sure what caused this issue.
EDIT for the record my speed test that evening was listed in a earlier post 50mb up 30mb down. I live alone so im sure there was no other bandwith usage going on at the time

I have similar speeds, both up and down, may I ask, are you through Comcast?

nevermind I see you're Verizon Fios. I'm a dork.

I have the same issues from time to time. Those are my speed/ping results. I only have rubber banding and lag issues with Rust. I chalk it up to it being early alpha and un-optimized.
