When i try to launch rust i get to the face punch splash screen, it freezes and crashes even after the hotfix patch came out still didn't work. I re install the game and still wont work and help?

i have the problem where i dont even get that far. I click play and nothing happens. someone suggested going into rust preferences>betas> and selecting dev branch but that didnt fix
