The AK recoil the last patch didn't quite have enough recoil on it and only needed a touch more but it was a lot better than this update. Using the AK I'm getting rekt by scrubs using the custom SMG at long range (I have over 1300hrs plus btw). Facepunch cant seem to ever get it right. The recoil on the AK is just to much now.....My opinion :) What's everyone's thoughts?
In my opinion, you're completely right. The recoil/handling of the AK ist just the worst thing I've ever seen. I know they don't want people running around killing everybody, but when it comes to defending yourself or other situations where you need to use the ak, you're just not able to hit ANYTHING with it.
They took it a bit too far. Please, change it back.
It's fine. Could be much worst yet. Hope they don't change because people will cry (not the case here). We need more STALKER series approach. Guns need bad accuracy, specially when we are moving, obliging players have more careful shots and make gunfight more intense and tactical.
That`s exactly what we need. Guns that are hard to manipulate. Hard to shot, hard to aim. It`s not CoD or BF.
Go on, Facepunch, play Stalker, it`s the perfect weapon mechanics ever. Everything we need on Rust is there.

This. So you should have no trouble at all with all those hours that you've used it in the past.
The AK is one of the weapons with the most recoil in many games which probably is just realistic.

You guys are simply put bad at the game :) Ak is perfectly fine, could use a bit more recoil tbh.

This kinda seems to be your problem, not a general rust problem.
Well, I was wondering if it will fix the recoil of the AK- 47, the recoil is too high , impossible to hit shot. Everyone is complaining, leave as it was equal to last update, or anti penultimate .
It is unplayable.
