Help me with my server pls

Some things I am still confused on. I used TCadmin 2.0 console via HFB servers from whom I rent it.

I added Oxide base, auto admin, doorshare, MOTD. I restarted.

[B]How do I give my character admin powers?[/B] Do I do that from within the game or from the web client for my TCAdmin? I go to Commandline Monitoring option but there is just an auto-applying commandline there to apply cheatpunch (which I did). Where is the place where I tell the server that my character is an admin? I also got the add-on that gives /promote and /demote but no dice. I cant get any command to work really other than suicide.

How do I send a message to the server? [/B] It says I type /say "X" but /say does nothing. (Maybe as my character isn't admin - see first q). can I say a messagfe to the server from the website console?

[B]How do I do MOTD?[/B] I've got a lame standard message that came with the Oxide mod. It says to 'run the mod once to generate the permanent text file." What do they mean "run it once". I installed it once.

I know there are a lot of servers but I have some fun events in mind and great admins lined up so we'll see how it goes.

[B]How do I give my character admin powers?[/B] You should already have a login password, perhaps a custom one with HFB. If you have access to your server files, you should be able to change it. Or by default it could be your HFB login password. go into console ingame by typing F1 and type rcon.login PASSWORD
