Same here, updated using the steamupdater. No way of getting the server backup! What happened with that last update?

Some Kind like an answer from the devs would be nice, it isn't sunday anymore guys.
Might be worth deleting everything in the SteamCMD folder (game and all) and start from scratch, just to rule out any type of conflict there.
Some Kind like an answer from the devs would be nice
I wished Linux servers would get some kind like an answer from the devs but I'm waiting since over two weeks for that... :(
Hi, also tried this now, on the rdp it works, but while starting to launch it via "tcadmin interface" it doesn't work anymore, so before the update on saturday evening / sunday morning ( doesn't know when exactly it was ), the server was startable with that webinterface, but somehow, since sunday it doesnt work anymore. So there must have been any change to the rust code, causing this problem, i did not update the webinterface or something like that. So for sure it has to be something with the update. @Garry , i would like to have an answer ... at least we paid for rust. [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] @Gachl, Linux would be really nice, that's right, there only have to be enough guys keep asking for this. So they see that the community want it.
Next week is going to be about transitioning to Unity 5. Anything else will be a bonus. Unity5 is in beta but the big man has given us the go ahead, and we’re in development.. so it makes sense. It’s what we would do if we weren’t in early access. So expect crashes, expect unresponsive servers. We’re developing.
There is your answer. Straight from the Devblog.
Well, so we have to wait, ok, sad that they are not even giving a statement in the private rust group im in with them, even through it says "4 views". :words:
So Garry? Are you going to add something to this? Any news on "development" and "Unresponsive servers" ? Really looking forward to get our server back online. Only by updating to the latest version it just stopped responding. resulting in players just losing interest in Rust. Sooooo bad.

It has nothing to do with me not reading or whining. I am just curious and looking forward to some updates, and who else can answer this better than the man himself? Especially when it is inflicting alot of active Rust players at the moment. Next week is going to be about transitioning to Unity 5. Anything else will be a bonus. Where's the bonus in that?
I run a server not had any problems, apart from a few minor glitches , and a couple of client side issues, Exactly What is the error, are you running windows? but TBH i you read the last dev blog expect to see very little content for the next week or so, after reading the switch to unity 5 is more problematic than most people thought it would be, chill out shit is gonna get broke in the development of this game but soon It will be better :)
Getting a similar issue where if the server is ran via Tcadmin as a service it expects to have a graphics card. This is the error in the output log: Initialize engine version: 5.0.0b2 (84095ea913ea) Forcing GfxDevice: 4 NullGfxDevice: Version: NULL 1.0 [1.0] Renderer: Null Device Vendor: Unity Technologies FMOD failed to get driver capabilities ...
