Getting (Rust.exe dont aswer) everytime i open rust!

Hey! The problem is that my friends rust crash everytime he open it. He get the message (Rust dont answer) i think that was something like that. I bought the game as a gift too him from steam. He can open RustClient.exe but cant connect to any servers. And if someone know a way to fix this plzz answer!
