Already connected to a server

i have just spent the day playing rust on UK3 with my buddy whos in the same house as me (weve been on this server everyday for the past week).. when suddenly a wild lag appeared.. we both get DC'ed and 5 minutes later my buddy reconnects.. i however am unable to. i just get the message Failed to connect (already connected to a server)...not sure whats goin on but i cant find any answers on how to fix it .. iv tried resetting my IP...manually disconnecting from servers and a game reinstall but to no avail.
the only answers iv found are people saying "wait for a server restart or wipe".. as im on an official server.. a restart/wipe seems far on the horizon...other people say get the admins to remove you from the server manually.. but as its official...there are no admins

anyone got any ideas .. im not a fan of just sitting here waiting for it to resolve its self

i should probably point out .. ive been playing rust since before it came to steam and iv never had any problems until today

Conratulation to you, dear friend. Yes, only restart or wipe. Same problem was on uk1 two weks ago. It stuck abt 40 peoples. And i was called moderators about 1 week(for restart a servers). It was really hard. So... Be patience... And dont cry... please.. dont need...
