• KISS - Keep it simple stupid

Everyone talking about making some sort of cars or anti def. AI guns, bringing aliens or Zombies to game, make in base elevators so you don't have to climb stairs etc.. I would be pretty happy with just being able to put a door in a doorway when something is already in that too :/
I always considered KISS a fallacy, for the same reason that I consider common sense a fallacy - everyone thinks of their interpretation, as some sort of objective truth that should apply to everyone. In the end, the only thing that I believe to matter, is that Garry and his team do not over-extend themselves. Looking at their dev-blogs, they appear to fully understand what they want to do, and the limitations involved. When it comes to community input, that is all it is - input. Does not have to be simple or complex, as even if the developers take note of our input, there are no assurances that they will immediately add it, if at all. Even if they do, our input could be added much farther into development, such as when the game has released, and anything else they work on is just gravy.
KISS is about clarity of a project, not direct simplicity. A huge project can still be KISS as long as it's well organized and doesn't have junk.
