Me and my friends were running around and we killed someone that was holding the new gun, the M249. My friend picked it up, but i couldnt see it. He tried giving it to me, but i cant see the icon for it when its in a box, on someones dead body, in a furnace. I cant see it when hes holding it in his hands. He dropped the gun, and all i saw was a bag on the floor that i could not pick up, and there was no name above the bag when i looked at it. The gun is completely invisible to me in Rust =\ I want to know if there is a way i can fix this so i can actually use the new gun.
Sounds like the game thinks you're unqualified to handle a gun that size.
It hasn't really been implemented yet, so chances are that person was an admin that spawned it in, or got an admin to spawn it in for him. Either way, wait for the update that actually implements the new gun and you'll get to use it then.
