Hey, I've just brought Rust tonight playing with some of my mates and we'll be playing and all but then on there screens I'm frozen and not moving, so I have to leave and rejoin just so they can see me moving once again, this keeps happening - what would be causing this issue? Oh and when I'm "frozen" on there screens, I'm still running around happily on my own and I can see them moving.

When you are happily moving despite them not seeing you moving, can you still gather stuff / shoot things and they respond back to ensure you haven't lagged out?

I can walk around etc, but I cannot open chests etc- I haven't attempted to shoot anything, as I haven't had a weapon yet, keep getting raided..
Plus a zombie killed me while I was running around but frozen.

I may be wrong but it sounds like you have temporarily disconnected and you really are just standing still, judging by the way you cant open chest.
Can't really think of another explanation, there may be something else wrong and I could be wrong so lets see if anyone else says anything

Got the same problem. Did yours accour after this recent patch?

Sorry no clue, just brought the game last night I don't know when the last update came out.
Edit: I can chop down trees etc but if I relog I'm back where ever it was frozen at.
I have the same problem can someone please help any information with be greatly appreciated
This happen to me sometimes. I always switch my weapons (just like Counterstrike) to check if im "live". If i cant switch my weapon i know im just ghosting around.
I have had the same problem for 3 months and begged for help, they don't care. It happens to me the first 2 minutes I am in the game, farm a rock and go to farm a wood pile and I am frozen.
