I've just posted asking for help so it seems only fair to share back, I kept getting this last night and after reading into a few things and doing some testing it seems you're more likely to get this error if you have a full hotbar/a lot of items in your inventory, I cleaned mine up a bit and got rid of some stuff and since last night I haven't had the error yet. So if you get the error try it out, it could just be a coincidence though.
