• Zombies replacement today?

According to the notes on Trello, Zombies are due to be replaced today at 11PM GMT, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but do we know if they are being replaced if not what's replacing the space left by them. PVP alone would not satisfy the map/game for me currently. (things can obviously change a lot in Alpha) Thanks
Yo, I see that "remove zombies" is still under the "gameplay" section. They'll only be removed when this card moves from "gameplay" to "next version".

Just because the card is due, that doesn't mean a) that the deadline will be met, b) that an [I]update to Rust[/I] will be pushed out at the due time even if everything is ahead of schedule. To be fair, if you don't understand the notion of sprints in software development and methodology, Trello is a bit of a bewildering interface that doesn't clearly communicate what it's representing.

what do you think the new " Zombie " will be?
They're being changed to mutants to edge away from being too similar to Dayz.
Actually, they clearly stated that they do NOT want to reskin them as mutants, since RUST is (quote) "No longer a DayZ clone". About the only thing that makes sense is NPC Bandits.

By "mutants" I'm pretty sure we're referring to mutated animals and whatnot - which is not even close to DayZ. I read on steam that they wanted to change them to mutants. It would fit in to the nuclear wasteland theme.

Yes, and OP was refering to Zombies being removed today, andAzkur stated they would be replaced with Mutants, which I pointed out that they wont. There was never any discusssion about mutated wildlife from my part. I have no problem with mutated wildlife, it would fit just fine into the general theme, it was the replacing Zombies with Mutants I contradiccted :) So basicly, we agree :)

Oh god. Add more animals + wild animals + flora at day. Add scary animals at night + more SOUNDS + maybe some flying animals.

current "zombie" = goodie dispenser if they find a good way to dispense the goodies, they will add the new one and remove the zombies about hostiles and animals they got few concepts like the fluffy chickens and the mutated reindeer with glowstick antles
Patrol helicopter has been done since before the last released update, doesn't mean its been implemented. They may finish/complete the "remove zombies" trello card today but until it gets pushed to the next version section, you won't see it on live servers.

Personally i don't care what they replace them with as long as their is a replacement. frankly pvp servers are already chaos. Every time i log in i hear squealing pigs being slaughter signifying the first ring of hell. This game takes normal people and turns them into them into sexual deviants/mass murders.

The last patch was on Friday. A daily cadence is not sustainable for a small team (nor is working weekends). Once a week or fortnight for content releases is more realistic.
how long is a fortnight i know it means a certain amount of time but i have no clue how long
14 days. I thought that was pretty common english word, so I checked on [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fortnight"]Wikipedia[/URL]. Seems its not at all common in the US. So we both learnt something. Also, in the US, biweekly means "every two weeks", but in the UK, it means "twice a week". You guys should really get with the program and learn the Queen's English.
