i Know it is not good time for this question since last patch, when pump-jacks were removed but...
On server where i play, pump-jacks are still running. You can’t craft them anymore or find crude oil by survey charges, but these wich was placed before update are still running and mining crude oil.
short story: i was inside my base wich is quite big, with 3 stone walls fences. inside fences i have couple of quarrys and 2 pump-jacks. So, i was in that base, crafting gun powder. Suddenly i hear a big boom, i stoped crafting, put away sulfur and charcoal, and i walked outside to see who is raiding me.
No one was there. And the big boom never repeated. I finished crafting gun-powder, and i was on my way to pump-jacks for crude oil. And then... OMG where is my pump-jack??? it was gone.
So, here is my question: can pump-jack blows by itself?
Your pump-jack had an existencial crisis and decided that it was for the best to explode.
It's now resting in Silicon Heaven...
My guess is the admin blew it up
