Make the blood draw kit pull blood from live animals. Make the pigs blood worth like 5% for example toward one medikit. Wolf may be 25% so only 4 sticks needed on a live wolf for enough blood for one large medkit. Values are just examples and not suggestions. Each animal would ahve a number of blood that could be pulled from it but only while its living. too many blood pulls and it dies and no more blood can be drawn off dead animals.
Personally I just think blood in the game is just fucking weird. If I harvest bear blood, why the hell would I put it in my own body to heal wounds? Blood should only be harvestable from myself and fellow humans.

I agree, However, I have never needed to use this as i have always had ample med packs

Well yes, I just think that if you are poking yourself with a sharp object to draw blood, there should at least be some risk :v:
