Firstly its not my own Idea i got on it by a Post of Elixwhitetail a part of his Post: Landmarks could be anything: radtowns, abandoned fuel tanks, the ruins of a gas station,[B] a toxic swamp[/B], whatever. Right now, for testing, the landmark system generates wolf monuments and caves (since caves aren't yet fully procedural, last I heard). Its funny how no one mentioned it laterly because biome`s are a bigtopic at the time So Here im gonna make a short list of the Ideas and why this should be implemented into the game. 1. Rust`s main Topic is Radiation <- so Toxic , Mutaded , and Illness are at the main topic, it would fit the theme 2. when there is Rad Water would be affected too , such as the Idea a Toxic Swamp. 3. Poison got mentioned. This Biome could be a way to get to this rescourse. 4. I made a Post about Radioactiv Rain this Enviormental effect could happen in this Biome l Link [URL="http://http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1412063"]http://http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1412063[/URL] 5. You will need some Radsuite`s or Pills to safely enter this Biome`s 6. In this Biomes some sort of Mutaded Enemy`s or other threats could attack you, (Mutaded Animals, Plants, Robots, Human(Zombie :P)) 7. It would be a great alternative to the radtowns and since the devs don't want there to be premade villages/towns/etc then the idea of a radiated biome/swamp where the good loot is is a good idea!

storm or toxic fog biome. The concept is simple, a mass of fog (100m x 100m) wandering aimlessly around the map rust, AI deve just take a random direction. i to reach a confin change course through objects so that no one is asalvo of this enemy. this turns rust into a more dangerous place with an enemy whom everyone fears and have to learn to live with because it can not be destroyed, only refuge and out of your trajectory. you imagine collecting materials. and then see this approaching fog and forces you to let to farm to get out that path. for people who is not alert, it means death
Biome does not mean 'map area', FYI. If it moves, and isn't characterized by a related set of plants, animals, and climate, it isn't a biome.

I enjoy reading the comments although it has to go on google traslate =S, but I read someone who does nothing. wrote about the error but do not contribute solution. is not even more you contribute your opinion. friend you are not constructive.
I think what he's saying is that radioactivity, waste, contamination etc. ... is something that would be statically assigned to an area when the map is procedurally generated (or in the case of a fog, statically assigned with a roaming algorithm), regardless of the "biome" present there. That would mean potentially more coding, as each climate or setting might react differently to the presence of large amounts of contamination and radiation, such as a dead or twisted forest. It's a neat idea, but tough to discuss how the toxicity got there when we still don't know the theme of the game world... and may never, beyond our own imagination.
