Whenever I try to start Rust through steam I receive the above error and it never fully starts. I tried going to my folder and launching through the "RustClient" and it will launch but gets stuck at the loading screen.
I've re-installed it and the same issue persists. At a bit of a loss here.
Yeh this has happened to me so what I do now is go to the file in steam under program files and open it that way a bit of a hassle but it works.
What's your computer specs ?
It does it to everyone if you spamm clicks on loading screen. Just wait it can be really long if your computer is old and not powerful enough
