why not. give us bipods for our rifles as an attachment. better accuracy. less likely to be seen. anybody else?
and for what purpose? camping? pls no.. lol
I like the idea of prone as it would help when avoiding other players but...
I would hate to be able to shoot while prone as it will help campers.
It would be useless as people can turn grass of so it would void using it for defense
I always thought going prone made sense. On the other hand I can live without it. It'd be helpful for base defenders. Or maybe take the idea of a tripod to turret mounted weapons for base defense.
They have a prone. Its called logging off.
But seriously, cavemen never proned, they ran up to those animals and clubbed em.

Cave men never used guns either.
Cavemen rarely wielded automatic weapons :) This is not a caveman game.
Prone is good, but grass must be mandatory for that to work, methinks. It's both a hiding and a sneaking tool.

Hence the clubbing. I still run around with my bow and rock. It just makes the game more entertaining to hear complaints of being bashed in by a rock when they had wasted 30+ rounds of shotgun and still failed.

I like the idea, but there should be a small time penalty for going prone, ie: lying down as well as getting up should take like 4 seconds each, so if you're a camper and you're spotted you'll basically be a sitting(or lying) duck for a few secs.
nice idea but doesnt fit Rust's current state
If they were to add prone, they would need to add a slightly better scope because at the moment it's hard to even get a headshot with a bolt action. Let alone, if a guy was to go prone, it would be as hard as to get a headshot and you don't have the relief of knowing that if the headshot missed, you would get a body shot.

Headshotting with bolt action is a cake walk, you just need practice buddy boy.
