Server questions - new server admin

Hi there,

for some reason I got banned from the boards for a few days - still not sure exactly why?

as a new server owner paying money and having four game copies for my kids, I would hope that I would get a bit of leeway, Anyway I have a few questions:

1. how do I locate the admin of a server?
2. how do I list my server attributes like I see in the list example [PVP] Sleeper, etc.?

I hope this is the right place to ask these questions.

You probably got banned for spamming your server details or something.

You don't get special treatment, no one does.

1. Ask in chat, it's the only way.
2. Edit your server.cfg and add everything to the hostname, Sleepers|NOHACK|PVP|ADMINABUSE etc

See that thing? It's the events log, and it's specific to every user. Click on it yourself, and you'll see the recent events that've happened to you (and things you do, if you change a title or buy Gold Member for yourself or someone else in the Boostar store, or you become a mod).

What do you mean, locate the admin of a server? Like, log onto a server and enter a command/click a UI button that tells you who the admins of the server are? Unless there's a Leather/Oxide mod that does that, you can't.

I recommend PMing a mod, such as [URL="http://facepunch.com/member.php?u=8190"]postal[/URL], and politely asking this thread be moved or closed, but it's up to you.

The mods are generally nice if you're proactive about correcting your mistakes.
