I just ran into a problem after buying Rust to my american boyfriend. We dont share the servers, and therefore cannot play with each other.
Is there any tricks for me to be able to play with him, or are the servers simply separated because of the distance and there is no chance for me to play with him?

It will be tough regarding latency, most likely, if you can get it to work.

How do I possibly make it work? Do you have any ideas? Everything counts!
I have few friends from America. Just add him/her on friend list. Get inside the server and he is going to be able to join the same server using the "Friend" option in-looby
Sure that's working...just join.
But probably your ping will be kinda bad.
well i live in europe and im able to play on all servers even from US just ping is high like 200 or higher
just find same server or use friend option or maybe use F1 and connect with ip
I am in Australia and i play on some EU sites with some friends in Ireland.
The Ping can be a bit high though from time to time
