update and wipe info - Rust

I am new to rust and its my first wipe tomorrow. What time is the wipe? How long do the servers remain offline ? Also ı think there is lack of proper information about this matter, especially for a new player. There should be an anouncement on the site for the specific hour of wipes, on every update and if its just map wipe or blueprint wipe.

wipe will be needed after patch is relised, wich is usually in the evenning. I do not know about official servers but non official it depends on admins and how quick will they make it. usually about 1 hour from patch i can play on new wiped server. sometimes faster.

In the begining of the game you are happy if u find a gun, now we leaved 2 crates full of weapons.

Will this be a blueprint wipe or just map wipe?

Noone knows?? There isn't any announcement before wipe? Please devs people wanna know how long until the wipe, time of wipe etc, a proper schedule!

Usually it's a map wipe. It is up to the server owner. Usually bp's aren't wiped.

often bps wipes will make the players upset. yeah its maybe necessary at some points in this stage of development but it shouldn't be done every month.

Don't complain if you don't know. It's common knowledge.

Usually it's in the evening (western european time), but, since there can be an issue even minutes before the update, they choose not to give a precise time to avoid people getting all salty like "dude you promised an update at 10pm, it's 11 and still nothing, you suck, me and my 2 friends are going to quit the game!"

I see that he says "Wipe updates are an opportunity for us to do all the stuff that would have otherwise break saves" but I see no kind of schedule. It would be really nice to know when exactly its happening and I do agree that wipe scheduling should be more broadcast to the public. A lot of people that play the game have no idea about it.

You guys get a lot of shit but it's a fantastic game.

yeah, at least a "wipe in the evening after 21:00" or something like that if they can't be specific. Just to let people know. We can't be on constant expectation whole day. Its so simple to add a single line in the server info in game and say " wipe tonight " or " wipe in couple hours".

Wipes are on Thursday. So no wipe yesterday. Duh. BTW, so much ass-kissing :smug:

How are they even suppose to know(besides you telling them to go read it...) OP is 100% correct about the wipes the info is nearly non-existent(burred info doesn't count), just playing about 2 months ago they changed from 1 month wipes to 2 week wipes, now its back to 1 month, I feels ya OP.
