I was thinking that right triangle foundations and floors would be a good addition to the building system. I mean I love the triangles we have but they leave gaps if you try to use them in conjunction with regular foundations. Perhaps the regular triangle foundation could switch to a right triangle if you have 2 regular foundations placed perpendicularly to each other. What do you think?
I've had the same thought. It would add a lot, I think.
It would be great, the times I've had parts just almost connecting is frustrating, but I believe the reason for the size and style of triangle part is due to the equal length of the sides. Meaning there is no need for a different size wall/door/window part to fill the 3rd size of a part you desire. Instead they are able to keep the existing sized wall parts as is for each side of the current triangle part.
Stop building so square, there are lots of possibilities.

Well unless they make some sort of Cities skylines sort of prefab system to create bases or something. It's really difficult to plan a base out that perfectly when you are actually building a base in the game. It's even more difficult if you are building around rocky and uneven areas or trying to join multiple bases together. Especially with how much of a bitch the stairs are.

By using only triangle foundations I've managed to wrap perfectly around mountain peaks. I even figured out how to glitch triangles to fit square floors and place stairs on them.
But that said, i do think triangles could do with improvement and to build stairs without the need for glitching triangles. Now that you can raise the height of foundations this should help improve buildings.

Seems like a lot of work to protect a penis tower.
