Hello.
Right now I was banned. I don't know why and would like to get an answer from any mods or someone who could help me resolve this. I will also throw in a picture of my gamewindow. There was a message saying "Chad ...." don't remember the last word. I am confused, but I would be happy to get help.

did you catch what it said when the screen got black?

The same thing happened to me i was just going out of my home then i was mining some wood then it said chad holds or something like that then i refresh like 5 times then it still said i was banned and i had a friend get on my account and it still said i was baned

Yes, many times. I have talked to more people and it's happening to them too

i've been hearing that they have implemented a sort of "autoban" system, and maybe there's something wrong with it?

I was the one who tested it for him, I refreshed it and stuff, still doesn't work. I know jimmy is a loyal guy and would never hack.
So this just happened to me, first my screen went black and it actually said something like "Connection is Chad" (yes chad)
Then I tried to reconnect and it now says I am banned.
I was AFK just before this happened. I came back to let someone out of my house and just before opening my door bam ""Connection is Chad"...
EDIT: More things that might help diagnose this:
I am in Ontario, Canada
My ISP is Bell
I was not downloading or lagging at the time
I have never used hacks of any sort ever
Before I got banned I was afk for around 10 minutes then I was crouch jumping through a window and then Unity/Chrome crashed.
I play in Chrome normally
To those who got banned - were you using the 0000000 beta code? If so, I'd say that is more likely the case...
They probably just rolled out some cheat detection.

I registred like 2 weeks ago and just followed these directions "when it asks you for a code just type in numbers until it lets you go to the next page." I'm 99% sure I did not just type 0s.

I'm sure any numbers wouldn't be a valid key. The only valid keys are the one's being given out by the guys from Facepunch themselfs. This might be the reason you're banned, but let's see what other people have to say about it. :wink:
Out of curiosity, how many people who got this kind of ban bought their key? While I don't know if they have a means of tracking them, they could be blocking sold keys.
I'm just going to assume they added an anti-cheat and it's banning false positives.

I was instructioned to type random numbers... I believe it was right on the registration site.

Garry literally said before to smash numbers into the box until it works. Although that obviously doesn't work for sign-up anymore.

If that's the case then lets not hope that anyone who 'deserved' a ban will be unbanned too when it gets fixed, for example hackers. :/
