Hey everyone who's reading this, see I got rust on Steam and there are no servers, see I was wondering, can I get Rust on a different website or is it only available on Steam? if you know please tell me because I just got to play rust and there is only one server but it's not a survival server.

Wait, what? So, you're only seeing one server in the server list? How exactly would a different copy of Rust help? If you're seeing only one server, then the problem is on your end most likely.
Its most likely a problem on your end. Rust isn't an MMORPG where downloading a version for a different region gives a different server list.
Post a screenshot of the server list, please
Perhaps he on experimental branch?

The option should be set to "None".
Perhaps he on experimental branch?
I would bet he is in the experimental branch :V . I got a friend that just got rust and went directly to experimental branch because he saw on playrust.com ( he got a very bad english :P ).
The only server is "My public rust server". That's the only server available. [editline]11th May 2014[/editline] You see, my friend has a Rust game that isn't on steam and there is a crap-ton of servers on that thing.
... are you using a pirated version?
that would be my guess
I switched to no beta and now there's no server's at all. I'm thinking it could be steam.
You can buy rust on the humblestore and will be given a key to activate it on steam if this is what your wanting. As for playing the game on something thats not steam, no you cant.
did you buy it from the Steam store?
I bought Rust from the rust on steam website. Is that bad?
I bought Rust from the rust on steam website. Is that bad?
Yes. Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad.
Yes. Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad.
You're not helping. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
You mean you bought it from here? http://store.steampowered.com/app/252490/ You didnt download it somewhere else, and add it to your steam library? Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like? Does it give you a build date up the top right corner?
Everything was yes. I got it off the Steampowered website and I've tried reinstalling the game.
