Huge weapon system update in order to balance the game?

Hello everyone,
first of all, I don't come here to complain. I think Rust is a great game with a lot of potential, but some "basic" ATM working features make the game hugely unbalanced.
After the server I played on for the past month turned to s**t because of a group of hackers, I switched to a new one who opened on May 15th. I established a small base in the mountains next to the Hangar, and farmed the few resources that I found. I made a small 1x1 with metal door, thinking I'd be safe for a couple hours before building another base, a 3x1 tower that was proven almost unraidable in the past (trust me, a lot tried and failed). After placing my loot in SMALL boxes, I went out and got killed by a dude with full kevlar and a M4. So far, no problem with it, shit happens. I respawned in my base a couple meters next to where I died, only to hear the clicking sound of C4 on my door. Door exploded, got killed and he stole my (small) loot (half a stack of fragments, a pickaxe, rad helmet and 10 wood planks). Been there, done that, so I didn't mind.
The thing that bothers me, on the other hand, is that weapons, gear and explosives are way too easy to get. As a consequence, a lot of people use it not for their own profit (the guy who raided me couldn't possibly hope to reimburse his 2 C4 by looting two small storage boxes in a 1x1), but simply to annoy people. I know this game isn't the Sims, but still.
If weapons (and explosives, for that matter) were much harder to find and to keep, players would use them carefully. Here are a few examples of possible "solutions".
-Only blueprints could be found in loot boxes.
-Blueprints could only be used to craft a weapon or gear once. To learn how to craft them, you would have to find a "Study Kit" that would be hard to find, as hard as a Bolt in loot boxes.
-Crafted weapons and gear could not be repaired.
-Same rules would apply to C4. But to balance this, wood walls would be destructible with melee weapons, but would take three times as many hits as a door (approx. 250 hits with a pickaxe, around 750 seconds - 12 minutes). This would be more "realistic", as you could totally destroy a real wood wall with a real pickaxe.
I would like you to give your point of view, even if you totally disagree with me. All points of view are valuable, and deserve to be listened to.
Thanks in advance.

The reason Rust isn't balanced right now is that the devs have higher priorities to handle before they worry about balance or fairness.
It's not that the devs don't know what they're doing, it's that they haven't had the time to think about it because they're too busy with more fundamental and important things. The experimental branch is a completely fresh start using the concepts and lessons developed in the current build of Rust.
The current build of Rust is no longer being updated. It's being kept around until the experimental branch has caught up to it and replaces it, and then it'll be around for nostalgia's sake.
Balance will come in time. Until then, they just don't even have time to care.
^What he said.
The game is more balanced at the moment on servers with uncraftable C4, though. You should try one. People use C4 more carefully there.
