Pretty much the title says it. I tried to launch Rust via Steam and Desktop but nothing happens, no menu, no black screen, no error or crash whatsoever, which is pretty weird. I tried everything sugested in other threads:
Deleted local content
Reinstalled the game
Turned off firewalls and antivirus
Running as Administrator
but to no avail, i looked everywhere for a solution, but i no longer know what to do or where to search. Also Legacy runs just fine, so the problem just comes with the current version of the game (Experimental)
i hope someone can help me out with this.
I'm having the exact same issue
i managed to "fix" this by going to the steam folder and executing the RustClient.exe from there (steam>steamapps>common>rust). Hope it helps.
