Hi, i have a question about the repair bench. When i repair a tool multiple times for example, will the default durabilty decrease each time i repair a tool?
I found that with the repair bench. If a tool is broken it looses durability to the point you might as well as throw it away. If you repair it before the item breaks it continues to hold strong.
In short yes. Quote "Repair Bench Helk finished work on the Repair Bench! Just drag your damaged item in and press repair. You’ll get it back all fixed up for a price of around 40% item initial cost for a 100% repair. But careful, each time you repair an item its maximum condition goes down until it becomes un-repairable. The model is a placeholder." Source: http://playrust.com/devblog-49/
It's much like legacy rust. Each time you repair an item, it's max durability points decrease until the item is basically useless to repair. For the most part, I find after you repair something about 3-4 times, it's best to just use a new one, as the repaired item will deteriorate so fast that it's essentially useless to use and too costly to repair for that small use you get out of it.
Who the fuck made the rock have durability? Isn't Rust all about that rock?
Who the fuck made the rock have durability? Isn't Rust all about that rock?
Right? I can't believe they consider this game "done" with all these obvious oversights.
