Re-read the sentence you quoted over and over and see if it says "this week WILL be a forced wipe".
Doing a major upgrade right before the xmas holiday seems very risky from a developer standpoint. Of course I don't know the risk of this upgrade but I doubt they'll do it.

It says 'might have to do another forced wipe' ............which is the exact reason he came here a few days later to find out if a decision has been made yet.
