Title says it all. I preferred the old animations as I like the more chaotic nature of the items and the player animations in the new rust.
Everything in legacy was boring and nothing really stuck out as unique, it felt like another fps and I hate that.
This is about savages eating each-other, not soldiers running around doing tactical rolls (although a tactical roll button would be hilarious).
Anyways, I'd like to see the dev team taking the anachronistic nature of their game into consideration especially when it comes to the visual behavior of the player characters.
What do you guys think?
I have to disagree with you on that. While the game does seem to present anachronisms and out-of-place tech, you have to remember the game is set in an aftermath of past civilisation.
As for the player animations feeling to modern/out of place, I like the unique touch to them, especially the new p250 which borrows a bit from the old one.
The old-new (lol) Semi auto pistol animation was awesome, it actually felt like it had some recoil behind it. But whatever, just my personal preference.
