[Suggestion] Add Walky Talky Radios ( Hand Held Radio transmitters/receivers with changeable frequen

With these new devices crafted with some metal, a computer chip and the battery you can set a frequency to broadcast on and broadcast your voice or a song from your guitar.
Other people on the same frequency can chat with you, or simply listen in.
There should be plenty of frequencies so people can use these to chat with each-other or have a radio station.
radios can also be used for other things IE listening devices, or alarms.

EDIT: Please make this a reality and remove the All chat and introduce Local Chat!
This would be cool if you are trying to coordinate with your team mates during a raid, you could all be using a certain frequency to communicate to each other. But if the enemy team somehow finds the frequency, then they could listen in. This would also be a way to remove Global chat (i always liked local chat better), and it will add more strategy and it will be more immersive. I always felt global chat was a bit out of place in a hardcore survival game like Rust.
i'd prefer encrypted Morse code, for the hearing impaired and anti-TS players.
There's absolutely no reason not to use TS unless as you said you have a hearing problem, it's easy to use, small file so you can get it fast even with a bad connection, many ways to customize for advanced users and clear transmission. Morse would be cool too though

Not everyone wants to go though the hassle of typing in the IP and port, also what if you only want to temporary talk to someone at long distance?
TS is also immersion breaking, tbh i think this is a great idea.
the only thing I'd use such an item is build one for me and one that I can throw over the wall into my enemys courtyard to be able to communication with him XD
I really like the idea of using this as a way to remove global chat, if you want to talk to people on the island you must find them or use a radio.
This will bring such a huge new meta to the game omg this would be fantastic.
of course the default frequency would be a public channel of sorts. and allowing people to broadcast on any frequency would allow for some very cool situations.
Radios could do both voice comms and morse code. It could some great ambience to the game: finding a weak broadcast or stumbling on a coversation. Faint morse code can be eerie in its own right.
Huge win. As long as there is a decent range of frequencies so it is difficult to find ones that people are actively using.
Regarding teamspeak/VOIP apps: this fills in the gap that these cannot. Think of it this way: you have a close neighbour who you have befriended, and you see him on occasionally. He builds a set of 2-way radios, gives you one and says whenever he is online he will have it on. TS and voip are a overkill when its only 2 people talking. Yes I know exactly how easy it is to open and use, I use raidcall TONS (I play alot of CSGO and DOTA) and when I play with only 1 other friend I will almost always use in-game)

long distance temporarily ? add them to steam and that's it
hassle? I wouldn't really call that a hassle man, it takes like 5-10s to get on a server that someone sends you. just copy pasterino .
but as I said, I think it's a good idea too just to add another fun element to the game that SOME might use
Problem is, that people DO NOT ROLEPLAY. The game is full of kids, russians, and """""pros""""", who will always use TS and steam voice-chat.
Except, if they ban TS (and other voice-chats) like VAC looks at running programs, and disable steam-chat. Barely possible.
There could be some use of it, though far from the amount that you might think.
if they remove the global chat players would have to craft/use radios in order to communicate over long distances with the entire server, players could use them to chat or broadcast messages/news, or use them as alarms or listening devices if they could plant items that do such things and transmit to their frequency.
As far as thinking that this is supposed to be the only thing people will use to talk to their friends that is just immature, of course people use teamspeak or raidcall, but that does not mean that radios would not have a huge place in the game still.
@Mestar, about roleplay, IMO the game shouldn't have global chat, just local, the radio and their frequencies should be the new global chat you could use /r 101.12 hello everybody on 101.12 this is Mester and I don't roleplay or you could turn your radio on and use voice chat to broadcast your voice/the on/off sound for Morse code to 101.12
Point it it isn't just for roleplay and you would be surprised at how many people want to work together to build whether it be a huge house, or an entire town, a bridge etc, or if someone wanted to be the three dog of Rust and play music with their guitar or maybe even through their headset to a certain radio station.
