Please for the sake of all of our little newman souls - let there be admins who can ONLY record and ban.
Let me explain
As a community, we vote for a few people who would be willing to volunteer their time - I can gaurentee there will be many who are willing to run fraps and spend a little bit of time recording people fly hacking/ jump hacking.
Banning someone for aim hacking or wallhacking/ esp is harder and that should be left to anti cheat but theres no reason why we can't manually ban people flying around/ speed/ jump hacking.
It would be very simple, the people who are in charge of the recording upload their proof and ban the player - any player can submit a request to see the proof, if it cant be provided they get unbanned.
The wipe is tomorrow and I'm afraid that nothing is going to change :( the hackers will win, like they do every week (Garry, be honest, it's been months since this anti cheat has won for more than 2 days).
already submitted this awhile back got little to no support for it.
This should be a thing, regardless of whos idea it is.
People could offer to be an admin just to fly around and scout base/plan attacks for their clan.
Its not going to work out well.
Make it so Facepunch's devs and moderators who volunteers for this kind of thing can ban/kick people at will.
Face punch devs can ban people they are just too busy Programming the game to be bothered moderating a server. Don't play official servers until the game launches! A simple solution

They've made over 20 MILLION USD from this game so far - it wouldn't cost 10 grand to hire enough people to moderate the servers.

and in the end it's their decision whether A)they want to spend anything on moderation, and B)how/if they want moderation implemented. i play on the official servers to test out new stuff; i'd rather all their focus was on developing the game, not watching cheaters and manually banning them, especially when EAC are hired for exactly that purpose, and are successfully banning many players for cheats.
