• Question about bans.

So I'm not going to lie. I've used cheats on Rust. I've learned my lesson and I am game banned now. My question is that if I made a new account would I get banned for ban evasion even if I played legit? I've uninstalled my cheats and all I want to do now is play legit. Someone please answer if you know.
EAC does not ban by IP or HWID. However, you really have no way of knowing that your system is completely clean of everything the cheats left behind unless you either wrote the hacks yourself (and know what they do) or you've formatted your machine. However, if you are confident that your machine is now clean and there is nothing at all (not even a stub of a loader) left over for anticheat to freak out on, you should be just fine and not-banned if you play legit. I'm not a Rust dev, but if you're playing legit there is no reason for the system to ban you. The key is that you need the entire system to be clean, anticheat can't read your mind.
