I recently started getting this message as I try to log into Rust. I've looked into other posts and tried the suggestions with nothing working. Is this an anti-hacking/cheating ban?
The only thing I can think of that might trigger this was a few days ago trying to access a poorly placed box in a corner against a tool cupboard before noticing a message in the corner that said something to the effect of "anti-hack."
Any suggestions? Or how do I go about appealing a ban? Please, my only crime is being stupid at box placement.

I don't get what you want exactly, do you want to appeal for a ban or are you trying to say you've got an EAC disconnected message when you join servers? If it's just a disconnected message instead of ban then you'll need to reinstall EAC and try a few other steps, if it's a ban Please post your steam profile in the comment section.
It would also help to note whether you are receiving this on a server you are attempting to join,or is it multiple servers
eac disconnected is not a ban message.
Ok, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling EAC, and running Rust as an administrator through Steam with the same error message. Any direction from here?
restart modem and computer. ensure that your antivirus/firewall software is not blocking eac. check you have no blocked ports beside the defaults; maybe try a full reset (ie to factory) of the modem if you get to here with no success.
I'll give that a shot, thanks
