• Rust wont launch + EAC Problems

Hi! :D Lately I've been playing rust but after the riot helmet update [Devblog 67] I wasn't able to play the game anymore. I tried to launch Rust on normal and on DirectX 9 but nothing happens. I opened the task manager and I saw rust.exe only running but the client is not popping up and when I wait for awhile it does this error "Cannot connect to the EasyAntiCheat network". I've tried playing by running RustClient on the main folder. It ran but when I connect to a certain server it will say "Disconnected: EAC Unconnected(I've also tried it while rust.exe was still running and double clicked rust.exe saying "EAC is already running" but still... I keep getting disconnected. So far I've tried: • Disabling all AV's • Running steam, rust.exe and Rustclient as admin • Verifying game cache(Spammed the shit out of it already) • Reinstalling the game 3x already. • System scans • More scans • Reinstalled EAC alot of times already Specs: AMD A4-6300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.70 ghz GT 630: 2gb 4GB RAM 64-bit OS DirectX 11 Please help ;-;
Delete EAC folder in Rust files, verify the files, reinstall the folder (done automatically after the scan sees there are files missing) and try again. It fixed the issue when I had it. If that doesn't work, bummer.

Sorry man, that was the only thing I can think about that you didn't do. Do you launch Rust via the .exe or via Steam?

Update: Game only works 1 time every reinstall
- Close the game - Close Steam - Go to your rust folger -> /EAC run the eac.exe as administrator - Run Steam as administrator - Play rust. Worked for me. I have to redo this every few days, so it's more of a workaround than a solution, however it makes rust playable again ;-)
