Really simple idea, just a pillar-like diagonal block that allows you to disperse stability outwards so that a building could be extended safely outwards from the foundation. Because it disperses stability it would be come much less effective each level you try to extend out for example a transfer rate could be:

100% > 75% > 50% > 25%

So the first extension could support extra structure, the second extension could support a balcony and the third extension would be effectively useless.

Also the supports could be setup so that walls other than the ones supporting then could not be placed around then so that their effects could not be stacked in one horizontal "tile".
