Yesterday the game worked fine but since this morning I'm getting the "Rust Launcher Error: LoadingError - StartService failed (577))" message when trying to start the game.
I think that it has to do with EasyAntiCheat, but I couldn't find any fix for the issue. I checked the game archives with steam, reinstalled rust with my antivirus off, and tried to install EAC with your executable, in all the cases I get the 577 error.
I'm using windows 10 and EAC seems to be working well for ROBOCRAFT and 7 days to die.
I tried:
Checking the archives with steam.
Reinstalling the game.
Killing the antivirus and reinstalling EasyAntiCheat.
Updating the game to beta unstable, then downgrading it.
Reinstalling EAC from a different installer.
Any help would be apreciated.

I started receiving the same error as well. I am also using a tech preview of windows 10, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I also started receiving this error, running Win10 as well
I was able to fix this issue by updating my windows build (to 10130). Go to settings then click update&security and update to the latest build there.
