"canvas element contains more than 65535 vertices. this is not supported" keeps coming up in the ingame console, after pressing f1 and makes every players chat ingame invisible. stringpool.getstring - no string to ID47676943, couldn't create network entity (" "/1476769436) also comes up. @garry do you mind telling me why this is happening? pls! Same errors here too. The chat becoming invisible is very annoying.
Chat. Still. Broken.
Print chat into console like in legacy, as for invis chat seems to only happen in death message servers where the chat is abused and spammed via the plugin.
Happens here also. A trick that I'm using is to ask people to send some very short chat messages, like "1", "2", "3". And then the chat appears again. For some reason the chat memory isn't handling all the msgs after a while and breaks once it reaches it's allocated memory. Just a guess.

They've looked into it. It's an issue with Unity on the client side. Your chat history hits a limit, then the issue starts. If your on a modded server, there are plugins which basically just insert empty lines into chat every x seconds to fix the issue. You have already found one though for Vanilla :)
This is incredibly frustrating. I hope it gets patched soon.
I get it too. Maybe there is a way to allocate more memory to the chat?
same problem on our servers
Looks like this annoying bug is here to stay, still...
