Because the game's in alpha and problems happen sometimes.
If you want a more specific answer, you'll need to give us some more information.
1) What are your computer's system specifications? CPU, RAM, video card, please.
2) What is the error message that you recieve when it crashes, if it displays one? I need the [I]exact[/I] message. Trigger it again and then write it down or type it out if you have to. The error message should give us a better idea of what's breaking and why.
P.S. I'm not a Rust developer, just another user like you. I cannot make changes to the game.

The game is in active development and is not polished and perfected. It will have performance problems. Right now, computers with 4GB of RAM have trouble with Rust due to memory usage problems.
Your Celeron is also not that strong as a high-end gaming machine and so this kind of problem right now isn't too unexpected. Your Celeron barely meets the minimum specifications for Rust, and because Rust is still unfinished and hasn't been polished and the bugs fixed, you need more than the minimum requirements. This will change as the game is closer to finished.
