Hello there, I played rust for a while (since devblog 40) and except for surviving, building a house, get drops and raid there is nothing very unique and unusual. In my opinion there should be events that affect the game, for exemple wildfires, adding volcanoes on certain maps and there may be some eruptions, droughts, rainy seasons, well natural events like this and so on. This would be a great way to be unique for rust and add some events that will affect the gameplay of every survivors. Those are ideas, I don't say that rust is boring, I really love it, I'm only bringing these ideas and I hope the devs will see them.
Agreed. Rust needs an external danger besides players. Something uncontrollable like a disaster, or dangerous hostile NPC's.
Tottaly agree, and I already suggested that tho. They can add some things like diseases that you need to find cure for it in barrels ((I think radtown will be more sense)). I think they should bring back the zombies from legacy and add that if you got bit you can became zombie if you won't find the cure for it. ((Just giving ideas u you don't relly have to use it.))

I think the zombies should only be back when the AI will be good, all the emotes and their mechanics and movements. Don't wanna play with bugged and stupid zombies... that would make more sens. But yeah natural disasters and deceases would be great.
First off, NO zombies, a majority of people want something else since zombies have been done so much in other games. That being said, I know disasters are planned, though not when they will be implemented. As far as AI goes, once theres some fixes with it to make it better, they will add caretakers and hopefully other hostile npc's. I think a good suggestion is have several npc's with differing levels of difficulty, from wolves to some human-sized monster to the (possibly) massive caretakers.
Zombies aren't coming back, unless garry suddenly has a stroke and forgets why the decision to remove them (which happened months before the game went up on Steam) was made.
