Help rust was fine yesterday now its laggy as heck

Yesterday I played rust for a few hours give or take at above 60fps at all times on high settintgs with 0 lag or 0 lag spikes, but today my fps is everywhere from 20 to 80 back to 30 you get the point. It's laggin like crazy because of this even with the lowest settings possible.. Anyone know why? Thanks.

i have the same Problems!
I played with 35 fps and now i have 7 fps with minimal quality settings. the game doesn't run very well anymore.
I hope that will be fixed soon, b/c i want to play and with 7 fps there is no more playing D:
