This isn't Rust's fault probably, I'm on a limited 512kbps connection and when I join a server I have to afk for considerable amount of time every time RustClient.exe is downloading/streaming something that seems taking forever. I wanna know if this data is essential and if I can limited somehow so it wont interfere with my gameplay, it's incredibly tough since during that time if I'm near other players I'm completely defenceless and would sure be insta killed as happened a lot of times.

I have no clue, it happens every time I join a server. it sometimes makes me DC and I have to do it all over again. :(
