VAC banned for no reason? only just got the game -.-

so i only bought rust a few days ago, ive been playing on a modded server with friends, last night i logged off and this morning as ive tried to log in the server told me i was game banned, ive tried other servers and they all say that i am game banned, ihaven't modified any game files or even used any glitches, this is ridiculous that i payed for a game and now cant play it with no explanation as to why.

That's a game ban not a vac ban. I think that means EAC(Easy Anti Cheat) banned you.

Multiple people come here weekly claiming that they "were banned for no reason" or that "they just started playing again after a month of not playing and somehow are banned". 99.8% of the time said people are in fact guilty and trying a last ditch effort of feigning innocence. The other 0.02% of the time has been honest to god errors on behalf of EAC, and those effected several thousand people.

Due to the rather high rate of people lying about how innocent they are, the people of this section are less than sympathetic to people coming here to contest their ban.

Because we have heard all of this hundreds of times before, and every time it's been confirmed someone using a pay cheat. The hacking forums specifically direct banned people to try this in an attempt to talk their way out of their valid ban.

Just saying here, but a game ban =/= VAC ban. If it were a VAC ban, their Steam profile would say it was a VAC ban instead.
