• Pickaxes and sheet metal doors

A guy pickaxed his way into my base and went through 2 metal sheet doors fairly easy. How much damage does a pickaxe do to a sheet metal door? Also I tried repairing it with a hammer when he was hitting it, I could repair it ones but after that I couldn't repair it anymore or my second metal sheet door. Any idea why?
Cool down time on damage on raids
Anything on your base that is being damaged cannot be healed unless it stops taking damage first. As for the pickaxing, everything has a weak side so he probably saw your door opened outward and took advantage. Make sure your doors swing inward, and make sure you're standing on the inside of whatever you're protecting when building. This automatically (but not always) faces the strong side outward. You'll begin to see the difference between weak and strong once you become mindful of it. If you see your wall is backwards, you have another chance to "flip" it after upgrading it to a stronger substance. Doors are an easier fix, as you just unlock-->open-->remove lock-->remove door. Or some shit like that I'm tired.
Are you sure that it was a pickaxe? For some reason I cant fathom, a bone club seems to take off 1HP per swing off a sheet metal door.. I am also fairly certain that 4 raiders used bone clubs to get through the soft side of my reinforced metal doors. They rocketed their way into my stairs, which had the soft side facing them (my mistake). I used the bone club to destroy the sheet metal doors that they put up to replace my reinforced metal ones.. Even if it is the soft side.. Why would a bone club do ANYTHING to metal in the first place?
I thoughts sheet metal and armor was tool proof?
