Bring back the old guns.

To all who read this I would just like to say first that I mostly played rust Legacy more than the new Rust (I still really enjoy the new Rust), But the weapons in legacy I feel would make a good addition to the nostalgic players of present day Rust. I think as only an idea but in my opinion a good one that there should be re-textured m4's, P226, shotguns, MP5A4. Thank you if you agree.

Id say the m4 is only one that should be added soon, but they should work on other things right now.

I honestly thought they'd add the M4 before the M249 but theres still a place for it

I think the modern guns would seem out of place in the atmosphere of rust, unless if they made it only obtainable though the soon to come NPC scientist with body guards as mentioned in the devblogs and even then make it uncraftable.

Or they could add a crafting table/tier system that will make it harder to craft, and make it so it is defective, or make it like researching stuff on the research table.

well to add on to your statement I love the kind of salvaged looking weapon styles but they started to bring in modern weapons with the m249 and I think now after you had mentioned it (which I forgot about) the scientist could be the ones that carry around either the m4's or mp5's (most likely mp5's as they are scientists and not body guards) and with the modern guns they would then addd to that mystery of why there are two "different" worlds one with newer guns then one with salvaged guns.
