Hi all. I was playing over the holidays and loving the new performance boost - thanks FP! But noticed some weird inconsistent frame rate
So say I start the game up from scratch, I'll get 30fps in one particular scenario. After a while, the frame rate will go up to a good 60+ fps and stay there for hours. I will then close the game down, do something else for a bit and start rust again. Again, it's only 30fps, but an interesting "fix" to get the 60fps back straight away was to change an element in the performance settings, water quality for example and then change it back. The 60fps would last throughout that gaming session. Oddly, this would work sometimes and other times not, and I'd be stuck at 30fps. Also, sometimes, the game would start at 60 and stay there without this prompt
Turning PVT on or off made very little difference.
A few days ago this "fix" didn't work and couldn't get past 30fps whatever I did unless I significantly reduced the graphics settings.
This is more to make FP aware, this isn't the end of the world for me, but if there is a magical fix, then happy days!
Specs: 5930k, 32gb ddr4, x3 980s, soundblaster z. 5760x1200, Win 10, latest drivers etc
Super stable cpu o/c. G-cards running on stock speeds
