HELP - Rust can't even launch

Hey guys,

When I launch Rust through Steam, the launcher does not appear, and the only thing that hints at Rust opening is my status which goes from "Online" to "Playing Rust" and back in 2 seconds or so.

Could I get some help on this matter please, would love to get back onto Rust soon.

disable your antivirus or other programs which can block programs

ah hah, got it. i just had to launch the client directly from the folder location and run it as an admin.
