I have installed Rust both in my macbook pro and windows 10 laptop.
My macbook pro only has Intel Iris Graphics 6100 video card. The laptop has gtx780m.
However, when I play RUST on both of them with the same config, Macbookpro always has a more fluent performance than laptop.
What could I do to improve the performance in laptop?
First, make sure the laptop is using the GTX 780M instead of the on-board Intel HD Graphics, which Unity games love to do for some reason.

Is there any way to check which one the unity game uses ?

I check that in the F1 system information. The game is running on gtx 780m.
[del]Right-click on the desktop and set the 780M as the default graphics adapter. Note: This will cause Windows to use your power-hungry 780M to render everything, which will affect your battery usage. But you can turn the setting back when you're not playing Rust.[/del]
Never mind then. Huh.
What are the specs of both machines?
CPU, RAM, SSD or HDD
Also, have you updated the Nvidia drivers?

CPU:i7-4700MQ
RAM:16305MB
Operation System on SSD.
Game files on HDD.
I have updated to the newest drivers.
Macbookpro retina 13 inches 2015.
i5 8G Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
What are the native desktop resolutions (and the Rust resolution settings) for each laptop?
And what kind of performance are you getting? What's your average framerate on the Macbook and the Windows laptop? And are you running in DX9 or DX11 mode?

It seems that I have used on-board Intel HD Graphics as default. It works now. Thank you very much!!!
