Help rust will not play steam auth time out

hello

started playing yesterday freaking love this game tryed to load game this morning and got (Steam Auth time out) so i waited 2 hours then tryed again server window shows no servers so i try recent server from lastnight game starts to load gets all the way to recieving data then just sit there foing nothing I let it run like that for over an hour. still nothing

please help
