Ban appeal - Banned for having Auto Hot Key running a picture over my screen - Rust

Hello, this is my first time on the forums and ever putting an appeal up so apologies for incorrect format/improper writing. I've been playing rust like crazy for the past month or so, with 200 hours in that month, i went afk for 2 hours today and came back and i was INGAME banned NOT vac. I've never injected cheats, downloaded cheats or anything like that with rust or this steam account, after donating $100 to a server and buying my own im so incredibly mad and confused as to why. Information which might pertain into it: - Fire wall is not active and has not been active for months (this is not suggesting ive been hacked i don't believe i have) -I wrote myself a script with a program called AUTO HOT KEY which i press Q and a red dot appears in the centre of my screen as an OVER LAY .png picture to help me know where the centre of my screen is. This is no way injects into the game, touches game files or has anything to do with rust aswell as many mouse hot keys and keyboard commands to play music and launch programs like internet and spotify Could this be the reason for a ban? This is not cheating or hacking? its the same as drawing a dot on my monitor. with over $300 sunk into this game in the past 10 hours im completely sincere about this and very curious and hopeful to get it rectified Steam account information - [url]http://steamcommunity.com/id/Woof2112/[/url] Ingame name - Moderation Asking for the banned to be reviewed and information as to why it was put on told to me as the account owner. Do not shit post this saying i legit hacked and want to get unbanned, its hard to believe someone through a screen but i am honest in my words.

I don't appreciate you posting on a ban appeal something that has no relativity to the subject at hand, especially with a range of 4 years. If i was banned on rust for using paid cheats i don't see the point of putting a ban appeal, they would know and i would know so it would prove fruitless and a waste of my time, im posting this appeal solely for the reason of this is ether a mistake or somewhere AHK is now not allowed without any sort of warning to Rust users/EAC users. No hard feelings, of course you can have your hesitation to believe me considering i used to script in Arma 2 though EAC should clear this up soon i hope

Not that i am worried it will say paid for cheat or whatever it says, if it does how do i learn more about the time / date and take it further as no such action has ever happened. Is it possible to learn of such details?

Is it possible to learn of such details?[/QUOTE] You'll have to contact EAC on their website to find out more information, but it's unlikely that they'll give you anything that will identify what cheat was detected and when, it's how they inhibit the cheat makers from circumventing their anticheat measures.

I have thought about using AHK for this purpose, but refrained from doing so because of a ban risk. My current workaround is using the sticky keys in windows that kinda works for mining and autorun, but a bit akward to use.

Obviously everyone is against me here as rightfully so though cant i be given a rough MONTHLY time range of when this happened so i have a better idea if i downloaded any fishy programs? I've messaged EAC directly as well but to no avail. With people constantly shitting on me saying im lying it's pretty stupid for me to be this dedicated to a key worth $15. I'm assuming processes can not be named but a harmless monthly time range would be a life saver in this, giving me an idea if i downloaded something super sketchy or if what i feel like is a complete and utter fuck up on their part is ether true or untrue. Even then you're not a dev or EAC staff so what you say is quite irreverent, though im hoping EAC staff will ether give better reasoning as to why they can't provide a hazy time frame or if they can they will so i can dispute this further

If by chance you get wrongfully banned, EAC will revert their vac or game bans, but if you havent, they just pop into the thread to confirm what got you banned in the first place (usually paid hacks/scripts)

Chances are, any cheats you installed will still be on your computer and running even if you remove/uninstall them. So that may cause another EAC ban on that account as well. Make sure your system is completely cleaned of any cheats or format / reinstall Windows before proceeding.

EAC providing you with a time range wouldn't automatically trigger memories in your brain as to which "sketchy" programs you downloaded.
