I don't have a confirmed solution but on my crash file it says "RustClient.exe caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)" so to fix "0xc0000005" error as the RustClient.exe has been fucking our computers with unstable ram usage , cpu etc..
try this , hope you get on something to fix it ... as the devs in here don't have the "time" to look into these error files as i have been uploading 50 crashes , 50 files and nothing in response or a fix for it
1. Disconnect from the internet
2. Open Control Panel
3. Open Program & Features
4. Click "View installed updates" on the left-hand side
5. Find "Security update for Microsoft Windows (KB2859537)" under the Microsoft Windows section
6. Uninstall that update and restart you PC (may take a very-VERY long time to configure)
7. Go to Windows Updates and hide (KB2859537)
8. Reconnect to the internet
9. Fix your System Restore feature; You might have to remove a fake C: drive and enable System Restore on the correct Windows drive.
Are you sure this works?
Are you sure this works?
I'm not sure if it works because I don't even have KB2859537 because i just formated my Computer , Format everything on it downgraded from Windows 10 to 7 because i thought Windows 10 still has bugs , but it's actually Rust who's making it crash
Anyway It doesn't make any harm , Try it ... I saw some posts from January , some say they also fixed it from doing this on Console : Press F1 in game type : assetwarmup 0
shaderwarmup 0
