I cant seem to get radiation on. It used to work fine, and i've tried some troubleshooting to make sure it wasnt me individually.

If it is just me... what can i do to fix it? I've already tried validating and updating the server to make sure all my files were good copies.
someone suggested I try adding it to the cfg.... but when I do it always disapears on server launch.
Setting server.radiation true shows its on in the console, but nothing happens inside the game at ANY of the radtowns.
And yes i've tested it without god mode on, and asked my players as well.
I finally broke down and added oxide to manage the radiation as my most recent step, but that does nothing also.
It's been off for something like four months now...
That cant be right because I played on another server a few days prior to update, then launched my own, and in both instances radiation worked....
The only place there was radiation since the new dungeons were added was at the air field hangars. It's been disabled as of this last major update.

there are modded servers, where the radiation still works.
I've read that it's just disabled by default. There's a command to enable it.
But that was back when the devs turned it off because it was broken. Don't know how it is now.
server.radiation true/false still works to some degree.
after the recent update it works again... but without the rad counter. I knew about the server command, i should have specified that id tried it, but at least we know now that it was off, but it can be on... partly... again.
